Brandon Finnorn

Brandon Finnorn is a 35-year-old oil painter based in Madisonville, Louisiana, whose work is inspired by the natural beauty of the Gulf Coast. Raised along Alabama’s coastline, he developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors while exploring Mobile Bay and Dauphin Island. After earning a degree in Biological Sciences from LSU and his MD from the University of South Alabama, he briefly pursued pediatrics before transitioning to fine art full-time in 2017. Using photography as a reference, Finnorn captures coastal wildlife and underwater environments, translating them into striking oil paintings. His work has been featured by brands like Orvis and Simms and in international publications.
