Lucy Greer Cheriogotis
A mother of four and a fifth-generation leader of a Gulf Coast legacy, Lucy Greer Cheriogotis has built a life that blends business, family, and community in a meaningful way. As a keynote speaker at the Community Foundation of South Alabama’s Women’s Forum, A Seat at the Table, she shared her perspective on leadership, legacy, and balancing the many roles women carry.
Lucy serves as Corporate Spokesperson for Greer’s Markets, where she oversees key areas of the business, including store operations, deli, bakery, catering, IT, accounting, and projects. Having grown up in the family business, she began working in the stores at a young age and now plays an integral role in shaping the future of a company that has served the Gulf Coast for more than a century. Her background in both business and culinary arts allows her to approach leadership with a unique blend of strategy and creativity.
