Dr. Katelin Holmes

When it comes to advancing breast cancer care on the Gulf Coast, Katelin Holmes, DO, FACS, FACOS, is setting a remarkable standard. A board-certified and fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist, Holmes brings world-class expertise to her patients at Infirmary Health in Fairhope while also serving as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Her calling to surgery began at a young age, nurtured by experiences working for a hometown general surgeon. A pivotal moment came during residency when a breast cancer patient confirmed her purpose, telling her, “You are meant to be a breast surgeon.” From that point, Holmes devoted herself fully to the specialty.
