Dr. Katrina Skinner
Dr. Katrina Skinner, a board-certified pediatrician and founder of Fairhope Pediatrics, has long believed that caring for children begins with supporting those who care for them. A lifelong resident of Fairhope, Alabama, she returned home to open her practice in 2009 after completing her medical training at the University of Florida Sacred Heart. Today, her office cares for over 5,000 patients, and her influence stretches well beyond the walls of her clinic.
Recognizing a gap in personal and professional development for pediatricians, especially women, Dr. Skinner launched two organizations: Women in Pediatrics and Pediatric CEO. What began as a personal quest for growth quickly evolved into a mission to support others seeking the same. “I was looking for tools to grow not just as a doctor, but as a business leader and thought leader,” she explained. “Those tools didn’t exist within traditional medical education, so I created them.”
