Courtney + Grey
Courtney Brooke Farni and Greyson Aaron Bethune’s love story began with a college friendship that blossomed into something lasting. The two met during their junior year at Auburn University and dated for five years before Grey proposed at his family’s lake house on Lake Oconee, an already special place for the couple.
“I thought we were going to brunch,” Courtney recalls. “Then he asked me to come see his mom’s new patio furniture. As soon as we walked outside, I realized something was up.” With the lake in the background and one of her best friends secretly snapping photos, Grey got down on one knee. “I think he had to ask twice because I was just staring at him in shock,” she laughs.
